Carnival in the Quebrada de Humahuaca 2015

The Carnival of the Quebrada de Humahuaca is a mixture of celebration introduced by the Spaniards during the conquest of America and the cults of native peoples.

In the streets the different members of the groups you’re dressed and flour are thrown. After parading through the streets of towns, street musicians gather at certain points called “fortress”. In these places rocks with music and dancing until dawn arm.
On Shrove Sunday, after several days of dancing and celebration, the celebration ends with the burial of the devil. BUENOS AIRES
In the City of Buenos Aires Carnival takes the rhythms of Afro del Río de la Plata to become murga typical neighborhood.

MISIONES
All the magic of Carnival in the province of Misiones. This year celebrating 30 years of the Carnival of San Ignacio.
In Misiones Carnival celebration starts on 25 and 26 January and continues on 1 and 2 February.
Corsicans in Misiones

SALTA

CORRIENTES
The city of Corrientes (provincial capital) was declared the National Capital Carnival. Every year thousands of tourists come to the city to enjoy the joy of the groups.

Carnaval 2015 edition of Currents

Corrientes Carnival starts on Friday January 23 and will feature 13 nights of shows.
